Come and learn about writing and publishing. Have a peek into the world of authors and publishers, hear from professional writers, the people who publish them and others involved in the process. Writers’ Day—Saturday 14 October — will bring together a diverse line-up of authors, publishers, editors and agents. Each will discuss the craft and profession of writing from his or her perspective. The day will conclude with a panel discussion.
Publishers will shed light on what they expect from authors in what has become a highly competitive field. Editors and agents will explain their roles and how they interact with publishers and writers. Questions from the audience will be welcomed. Overall, it will be a day of sharing ideas and experiences—a good mix of interest and fun.
